Tagaytay

"Tagaytay is home to Taal Volcano, which is reputed to be the world's smallest and yet most active. It stands on its own island amid a landscape of ash and cinder. The breathtaking views of Taal volcano and Lake is a MUST SEE for everyone visiting Asia. It is truly a once in a life time experience and we recommend a visit in the strongest possible way."

So off to Tagaytay we went!

It was indeed very nice but I didn't think my camera did justice to the place and you can barely see Taal Volcano from here. Check out this site if you want more information.

The drive to Tagaytay took about an hour or so from Manila, but because of the traffic situation, it's usually a day trip. So lunch is a must after you've feast the eyes.

Thanks to our foodie friends, we went to this magnificent place called Antonio's.
Hahaha.... prepare to drool my friends!

Antonio's interior.

It is actually a really old mansion that serves 5-star meals... *grin*

The melt in your mouth to die for medium well steak.

Highly recommended Antonio's Trio - Sea Bass, Lamb and Steak.
(Ok, so one of them is already missing when I took the shot, it goes to show how good the food is! )

The grand ending of my 'I've died and gone to food heaven' lunch - Chocolate ice-cream with Grand-Marnier.

So what else is there in Tagaytay? Buko Pie!
It's pie made of coconut flesh and it's not sweet at all. Yumm!

Aaahh....what a wonderful life :)
